Job summary

BVR People Consulting is seeking a Press Shop Mechanical Maintenance professional for our client in India. The role centers on preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of press machines, with emphasis on troubleshooting and maintaining records.

You will coordinate with Production, Tool Room and Quality, ensure safety standards, and support die setting and alignment. Prior experience in press shops or related industries is preferred.

Qualifications

• Handle preventive, predictive & breakdown maintenance of press machines.
• Troubleshoot Power Press, Mechanical Press & Hydraulic Press breakdowns.
• Maintain bearings, gears, shafts, couplings, belts, chains & lubrication systems.
• Handle hydraulic & pneumatic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Support die setting, die alignment & machine alignment.
• Reduce machine downtime through quick troubleshooting and corrective action.
• Conduct regular machine inspection and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain breakdown reports, PM schedules and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with Production, Tool Room & Quality teams.
• Follow safety standards and maintenance SOP.
