Job summary

Adroitre Energy in Pune's Chakan area invites an experienced Press Shop Business Head to lead all press shop operations, drive production targets, and oversee 63T-500T presses.

You will push productivity, optimize OEE and material yield, control scrap and costs, and prepare costing for new quotations. Lead engineers, die setters and operators while coordinating with Tool Room, Maintenance, PPC, Quality and Production teams. Ensure adherence to IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP and SPC.

Qualifications

• Experience in Automotive Sheet Metal Press Shop.
• Expertise in press shop production, dies, yield improvement, costing, scrap reduction, and process optimization.
• Knowledge of Progressive, Transfer & Tandem Dies.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Good understanding of GD&T, ERP, MS Excel, and MIS reporting.
• Strong leadership, planning and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complete Press Shop operations and achieve production targets.
• Manage Mechanical, Pneumatic & Hydraulic Presses (63T500T).
• Improve productivity, OEE, machine utilization, and overall efficiency.
• Drive material yield improvement and optimize sheet utilization.
• Control scrap, rejection, and manufacturing costs.
• Prepare product costing, process costing, and support new business quotations.
• Troubleshoot press machines and resolve production-related issues.
• Coordinate with Tool Room, Maintenance, PPC, Quality, and Production teams.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, 5S, SMED, and Poka-Yoke.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Systems (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, SPC).
• Lead and develop engineers, supervisors, die setters, and operators.
