Job summary

SV Management Consultants in Indore invites a Press Maintenance Engineer to lead preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical/hydraulic presses and press-shop equipment. The role requires hands-on expertise to maximize machine availability and implement corrective actions.

You'll read hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drawings, troubleshoot PLC/VFD/HMI/SCADA systems, and support 5S, Kaizen, and energy-saving initiatives while ensuring safety and cost-efficiency.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech with 4-5 years relevant experience.
• Diploma with 8-10 years relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in press-shop maintenance.
• Experience with ISGEC, Schuler, Erfurt or Weingarten presses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical/hydraulic presses and press-shop equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical breakdowns.
• Maintain and troubleshoot clutch & brake, cushion, counter‑balance, hydraulic overload and press interlock systems.
• Perform press health checks and GAT checking and implement corrective actions.
• Read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drawings.
• Troubleshoot PLC, VFD, HMI, SCADA, sensors and encoder/CAM systems.
• Handle maintenance of EOT cranes, compressors and 3D laser machines.
• Drive 5S, Kaizen, LCA, energy-saving, safety and cost-reduction initiatives.

About Role:
