Job summary

Adroitre Energy is seeking a Press Shop Engineer in Pune to plan and oversee daily press shop production. You will supervise mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic presses, ensure targets and on-time delivery, and coordinate die setting and changeovers.

The role requires a diploma or BE in Mechanical or Production Engineering with hands-on troubleshooting ability and knowledge of IATF16949. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

Diploma/BE in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
Experience in Automotive Sheet Metal Press Shop.
Knowledge of Progressive, Tandem & Transfer Dies.
Understanding of press shop processes, planning, and quality control.
Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of GD&T, SPC, APQP, PPAP, and IATF 16949 preferred.
Hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

Plan and monitor daily Press Shop production.
Operate and supervise Mechanical, Pneumatic & Hydraulic Presses.
Ensure production targets, quality, and on-time delivery.
Coordinate die setting, trial, and changeover activities.
Monitor machine utilization, OEE, and productivity.
Control rejection, scrap, and material wastage.
Improve part yield and optimize sheet material utilization.
Support preventive maintenance and troubleshoot press-related issues.
Coordinate with Tool Room, PPC, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
Implement 5S, Kaizen, TPM, SMED, and safety practices.
Maintain daily production reports and MIS.
