Job summary

JB Group of Companies is seeking a seasoned Presales Solution Design Engineer in Gurugram to design and propose end-to-end video surveillance solutions. You will engage with sales to capture requirements and deliver compelling demonstrations, concepts, and architecture diagrams.

The role requires 3–6 years in VMS/surveillance presales, strong CCTV/IP networking knowledge, and excellent communication skills. On-site work in Gurugram with exposure to AI analytics and modern security tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of presales, solution design, or technical consulting in VMS/Surveillance.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV cameras, IP networking, storage (NAS/SAN), and security infra.
• Experience designing scalable VMS architectures with integrations.
• Hands-on knowledge of VMS platforms (Mirasys, Milestone, Genetec, Honeywell, Avigilon).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into workable, cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with sales teams to identify customer requirements and propose VMS-based solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept installations, and technical presentations.
• Design end-to-end security solutions integrating VMS, CCTV, access control, analytics, and storage systems.
• Prepare solution design documents, proposals, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Engage with product and R&D teams to ensure solution feasibility and customization.
• Support sales by addressing technical queries and providing solution architecture diagrams.
• Keep updated with the latest trends in video surveillance, AI analytics, and security technologies.
