Job summary

Datametica is seeking a techno-functional architect with 6 to 10 years of industry experience to own presales solutioning end-to-end, from discovery to proposal creation and client presentations, ensuring alignment with delivery and implementation best practices.

The role involves leading solution discovery, designing cloud data platform architectures, and creating artifacts like architecture documents, technical proposals, and SOW inputs.

Qualifications

• Experience in presales solutioning from discovery to proposal creation.
• Strong ability to negotiate and communicate with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to design cloud data platforms and data warehouse architectures.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Customer stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.
• Lead solution discovery workshops, technical discussions, and architecture envisioning sessions.
• Create presales artifacts including solution architecture documents, Technical proposals and SOW inputs.
• Effort estimations and sizing for proposals and projects.
• RFP/RFI responses and client presentations/demos.
• Design end-to-end cloud data platform architectures aligned to client needs and industry best practices.
• Present solutions, architecture, and value propositions to client technical and business stakeholders.
• Support pricing strategy, effort estimation, and resource planning for proposals.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with implementation best practices.

Primary Responsibilities

Presales & Solutioning

• Partner with Sales and Customer stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements
• Lead solution discovery workshops, technical discussions, and architecture envisioning sessions
• Create presales artifacts including
• Solution architecture documents
• Technical proposals and SOW inputs
• Effort estimations and sizing
• RFP/RFI responses
• Client presentations and demos
• Design end-to-end cloud data platform architectures aligned to client needs and industry best practices
• Present solutions, architecture, and value propositions to client technical and business stakeholders
• Support pricing strategy, effort estimation, and resource planning for proposals
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with implementation best practices

Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Lead the design and implementation approach for cloud-based data platforms and data warehouses
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures
• Develop reusable architecture patterns, accelerators, and best practices
• Ensure alignment with data governance, security, and compliance requirements
• Stay current with emerging trends in cloud data, analytics, and AI/ML

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

• Work closely with Delivery, Engineering, and Customer teams to design optimal solutionsProvide technical leadership across multiple concurrent presales opportunities
• Support transition from presales to delivery with clear solution documentation and KT

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Proven experience designing cloud-native data platforms and modern data warehouse solutions (GCP-focused, Microsoft good to have)
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data modeling
• Experience with cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Synapse/Fabric, Databricks, etc.)
• Experience designing scalable and reusable architecture patterns
• Cloud certifications (GCP, Microsoft) preferred
• Strong communication and storytelling skills for client-facing engagements
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and value propositions
• Ability to work in fast-paced presales environments with multiple opportunities
• Excellent documentation and presentation skills
