Job summary

Mekr Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Haryana is seeking an experienced PPC Manager (Production Planning & Control) to oversee production planning, material coordination, inventory control and timely execution of manufacturing schedules.

The role requires strong expertise in capacity planning, supply chain coordination and SAP-based MIS reporting, with leadership of the PPC team and cross-functional collaboration across Production, Purchase, Quality, Stores, Sales and Dispatch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering or a related field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in production planning and control in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in home appliances, consumer electronics or similar industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, BOM, scheduling, capacity planning and inventory management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on orders, forecasts and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Stores and Supply Chain to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Monitor machine capacity, manpower and resources to optimize utilization.
• Maintain inventory levels, minimize excess stock and ensure material utilization.
• Track production progress and identify bottlenecks, implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchase, Quality, Stores, Sales and Dispatch for smooth operations.
• Ensure timely order fulfilment and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Prepare daily production reports, plans vs actuals and capacity utilization analyses.
• Identify opportunities to reduce lead time, wastage and improve efficiency.
• Ensure SAP or other ERP transactions for production planning and inventory.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented PPC Manager to oversee production planning, material coordination, inventory control, and timely execution of manufacturing schedules. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in production planning, capacity utilization, supply chain coordination, and inventory management, preferably in the home appliances, consumer electronics, or manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning: Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders, demand forecasts, and delivery commitments.
• Material Planning: Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, and Supply Chain teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials, components, and packaging materials.
• Capacity Planning: Monitor machine capacity, manpower availability, and production resources to optimize utilization and achieve production targets.
• Inventory Control: Maintain optimum inventory levels, minimize excess and obsolete stock, and ensure effective material utilization.
• Production Monitoring: Track production progress against planned schedules, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to minimize delays.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Production, Purchase, Quality, Stores, Sales, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Order Fulfilment: Ensure timely execution of customer orders and adherence to delivery schedules.
• MIS & Reporting: Prepare and analyze daily production reports, production plans versus actuals, material shortage reports, inventory reports, and capacity utilization reports.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to reduce production lead time, minimize wastage, improve productivity, and optimize operational efficiency.
• ERP/SAP Management: Ensure accurate production planning, material consumption, and inventory-related transactions in SAP or other ERP systems.
• KPI Monitoring: Track key performance indicators such as schedule adherence, production efficiency, inventory turnover, downtime, and on-time delivery.
• Team Management: Lead and guide the PPC team, establish work priorities, and ensure timely reporting and execution of assigned responsibilities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• 1012 years of relevant experience in production planning and control within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in home appliances, consumer electronics, electrical products, or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, BOM, production scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP is essential.
• Excellent analytical, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and production MIS reporting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple production priorities and meet deadlines.
