Job summary

RG Bronze Manufacturing in Tamil Nadu is seeking a Production Planner to align monthly customer requirements with firm and tentative schedules provided by Sales. You will plan production activities to meet schedules and ensure timely product delivery, while coordinating RM release and purchasing for bought materials.

Responsibilities include monitoring inventories, minimizing waste, and maintaining SAP B1 production schedules.

• Assess raw material position and release RM schedules; coordinate with purchasing for bought materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to minimize waste and improve efficiency.
• Develop and maintain production schedules using SAP B1.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production planning and scheduling issues.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyze monthly customer requirements based on schedules received from all customers based on the FIRM and Tentative schedules as received from Sales team.
  
• Plan production activities according to schedule, ensuring timely delivery of products.

• Evaluating raw material position and preparation and release of RM schedule/requirements. Follow-up and ensure timely production and delivery of RM to each of the respective manufacturing plant. For bought out raw materials, closely follow-up with purchasing team to ensure timely receipt of RM.
  
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock management to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  
• Develop and maintain accurate production schedules using SAP B1 software.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to production planning, control, and scheduling.
