Job summary

Micro Plastics in Tamil Nadu, Krishnagiri district, is seeking a production planner to coordinate monthly and weekly production plans, align capacity and material, and ensure on-time fulfillment.

The role requires SAP PP proficiency, strong Excel skills, and cross-functional collaboration with SCM and CFT to optimize inventory, update MRP, and close production orders.

• Excellent in MS Excel (Pivot, V look up, Tabulation).

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and weekly production plans considering capacity and material.
• Collaborate with SCM for RM/MB coverage for execution based on N+3-month requirement.
• Manage MRP and update orders; timely communication to CFT for preparation.
• Measure daily plan vs actuals of previous days production.
• Control inventory and monitor costs by managing job orders and material inventory.
• Ensure no gaps in daily PO closures and communicate with customers via updated DPT.
• Close production orders and reflect inventory in SAP to proceed for shipments.
• Should be good at SAP PP.

Role & responsibilities

1.Monthly & Weekly Production plan preparation by Understanding the capacity, Material etc.

2. Working closely with SCM for RM /MB coverage for execution based on N+3-month requirement.

3.Responsible for MRP, Orders Updating in system & timely communication to CFT for preparation.

3.Responsible for measuring the daily Plan vs actuals of previous days production.

4.Cross functional coordination to meet the daily plans & ensure Fulfilments of orders.

5.Responsible for Inventory control and Monitor cost by controlling the Job orders,

material inventory etc.

6.Ensure that no gaps in daily PO closure, communication to Customer in updated DPT.

7.Responsible for Production order closure & ensure Inventory reflect in SAP to proceed for shipments.

8.Should be good at SAP PP

Preferred candidate profile
