Job summary

M & B Engineering in Gujarat, India is seeking a Production Planner to translate customer orders and project schedules into daily, weekly, and monthly production plans. You will coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality and Dispatch to ensure smooth workflow and timely output.

The role involves monitoring progress, managing material requirements, tracking WIP, maintaining records in ERP or Excel, and driving continuous improvement to reduce lead times and boost productivity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and project schedules.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Dispatch departments for smooth workflow.
• Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to production schedules.
• Plan material requirements and follow up for timely procurement.
• Track Work-in-Progress (WIP) and maintain optimum inventory levels.
• Prepare and update production reports, MIS reports, and production dashboards.
• Monitor machine utilization and production efficiency.
• Coordinate with Quality team to ensure products meet company standards.
• Identify production bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure timely dispatch of finished products as per delivery commitments.
• Maintain accurate production records in ERP or Excel.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce lead time.
