Job summary

Corporate Stalwarts is seeking an experienced PPC Engineer/Assistant Manager (Production Planning & Control) in Patiala District, India. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and monitoring fabrication activities to ensure timely delivery, optimal resource use, and quality adherence.

You will develop detailed production plans, create weekly and monthly schedules, and coordinate with Design, Procurement, Quality, and Production teams.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
• Certification in Production Planning, Supply Chain Management, or ERP systems will be an added advantage.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in heavy fabrication/related industries.
• Experience in fabrication planning, scheduling, and resource management for large-scale projects.
• Attention to detail; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed production plans based on project schedules, customer requirements, and available capacities.
• Develop weekly and monthly production schedules for fabrication, welding, machining, painting, and dispatch activities.
• Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Quality, and Production for smooth workflow execution.
• Monitor progress against production plans and take corrective actions to eliminate delays.
• Review BOMs, drawings, and material requirements for projects.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Stores to ensure timely availability of raw materials and bought-out items.
• Monitor material shortages and prepare material requirement reports.
• Track material consumption and minimize wastage.
• Track daily production achievements and prepare MIS and productivity reports.
• Identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions; ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and facilities.
• Liaise with Project Management to align production schedules with milestones.
• Coordinate with QA for stage inspections and release of components; work with Dispatch and Logistics for timely shipment.

Requirements
