Job summary

Tsujikawa is seeking a production planning professional to manage end-to-end PPC activities in Karnataka. You will coordinate production planning, materials planning, inventory control, and weekly/monthly loading plans to ensure on-time delivery and zero stockouts.

• Experience in production planning and inventory control.
• Familiar with Kanban and Just-In-Time (JIT) practices.
• Ability to prepare loading plans and issue work orders.
• Strong coordination across Production, Subcontractors, Stores and Assembly teams.
• Analytical skills to monitor capacity utilization and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production planning, materials planning, and inventory management.
• Prepare monthly loading plans and issue work orders and materials as per the daily production plan.
• Coordinate with Production, Subcontractors, Stores, and Assembly teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Monitor and optimize the utilization of manpower, machines, and other production resources.
• Develop and maintain Pull System, Kanban, and JIT practices for effective material flow and inventory control.
• Prepare Material Purchase/Requisition (MPR) based on production requirements and EOQ levels.
• Monitor material availability and ensure zero stockouts and uninterrupted production.
• Identify production/material bottlenecks and report shortfalls and critical issues to senior management.
• Conduct and coordinate daily production review meetings and follow up on action points.
• Maintain Plan vs. Actual, Capacity Utilization, Inventory, and other PPC MIS reports
• Support the Plant Head in annual budgeting, capacity planning, and production planning activities.
• Coordinate physical stock verification and provide necessary support during internal and external audits.
• Ensure proper maintenance of stores records, material receipts, issues, and stock data.
• Monitor WIP and inventory levels and take corrective actions to improve inventory turnover.
• Ensure adherence to defined PPC, Stores, material handling, and inventory control procedures.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, material flow, inventory control, and on-time delivery.
