Job summary

Kairos Technologies Inc. is seeking an embedded hardware engineer in Bengaluru to design and test power supply and motor-drive electronics for industrial applications. You will diagnose and debug electronic boards, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with relevant protocols and standards.

The role requires familiarity with RS422/485, CAN, ARINC 429, and safety/qualification standards such as ARP4754, DO-254 and DO-160. This position is based in Bengaluru, India.

Qualifications

• Experience in power supply or motor-drive electronics design and testing.
• Ability to perform component-level troubleshooting of electronics PCBs.
• Familiar with debugging tools: logic analyzers, data loggers, oscilloscopes.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (RS422/485, CAN, ARINC 429).
• Awareness of ARP4754, DO-254 and DO-160 qualification activities.

Role & responsibilities

• Ability to perform component level troubleshooting of Electronics Printed Board
• Familiarity with the debugging tools such as logic analyzers, data logger and oscilloscopes.
• Coordinate with cross functional team to resolve the reported issues
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as RS422/485, CAN, ARINC 429,
• Knowledge of sensors such as Resolver, RVDT, and LVDT interface principles - Position/angle/linear displacement measurement, Excitation/demodulation.
• Familiar with industry standards including ARP4754 and DO254.
• Knowledge of System Safety analysis and Failure Mode Effect analysis, Fault Tree analysis etc.
• Knowledge of qualification test standards such as DO-160
