Job summary

Outsized, a global consulting firm, seeks a mid-senior PMO/Transformation specialist for an AI-led programme in insurance. Based in Mumbai, you will coordinate multi-workstream delivery across business and technology.

You will develop integrated project plans, manage RAID, governance, and executive reporting, while engaging with senior stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely decisions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Project Overview

A leading global consulting firm is supporting a major AI-led transformation programme for a leading organisation in the insurance industry. The programme spans multiple business and technology workstreams, including technology architecture, core platform implementation, cloud, data and AI, and operating-model development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an integrated programme plan across business and technology workstreams.


• Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues and key decisions, ensuring timely follow-through.


• Drive programme governance through project-team stand-ups, workstream reviews and Steering Committee preparation.


• Prepare concise status updates, governance packs and executive-ready materials for senior stakeholders.


• Coordinate delivery across the client, consulting team, technology vendors and other external partners.


• Support prioritisation and sequencing of work, identifying delivery, resource and schedule risks early.

Your Background

• 5–9 years of experience in PMO, transformation delivery, technology programme management or consulting.


• Strong experience supporting complex, multi-workstream technology transformation programmes.


• Hands-on experience with programme planning, RAID management, governance, action tracking and executive reporting.


• Experience working within the insurance or broader financial services industry is preferred.


• Comfortable coordinating senior stakeholders and external vendors, with the ability to challenge constructively and upscale when required.


• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and critical-path dependencies.


• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, with the ability to translate complex programme information into clear, decision-oriented communication.


• Experience with agile, digital, cloud or AI-related transformation environments would be advantageous.

Location: Mumbai

Work arrangement: Full-time, primarily client-site based. Candidates must be based in Mumbai for the duration of the engangement.

Contract Duration: 12 months initially, with likely extension for another 12 months
