Job Title: Manager – AI Transformation

Location: India (Preferred: Bengaluru, Karnataka)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Manager – AI Transformation to lead our enterprise-wide AI adoption and operational transformation initiatives.

This role will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing, implementing, and scaling Artificial Intelligence solutions across all business functions including Engineering, Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Internal IT, Value Engineering, and People & Culture.

The ideal candidate will combine expertise in AI technologies, business transformation, process optimization, change management, and executive stakeholder management to drive measurable business outcomes through AI.

The Director – AI Transformation will own the organization's AI roadmap, governance framework, value realization model, AI maturity assessments, and AI adoption strategy while ensuring responsible and compliant AI implementation.

Key Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Transformation

• Develop and execute the enterprise AI transformation roadmap aligned with organizational objectives.
• Identify high-impact AI opportunities across all business functions.
• Establish a scalable framework for evaluating, prioritizing, and implementing AI use cases.
• Drive organization-wide AI adoption and transformation initiatives.
• Build and maintain a multi-year AI strategy aligned with business growth objectives.

Program Leadership

• Lead the organization's AI Transformation Office and associated workstreams.
• Govern the portfolio of AI initiatives across departments.
• Define program success metrics and ensure delivery against agreed outcomes.
• Provide regular executive and board-level updates on AI transformation progress.
• Manage cross-functional teams including consultants, AI specialists, business stakeholders, and external partners.

Value Realization & ROI Management

• Establish standardized methodologies for AI benefit measurement and validation.
• Define and track productivity gains, cost reductions, revenue impact, and operational efficiency improvements.
• Create enterprise-level dashboards for AI investment and value realization.
• Ensure all AI initiatives have measurable business outcomes and validated ROI.

AI Governance & Risk Management

• Develop and implement AI governance frameworks, policies, and operating procedures.
• Establish responsible AI practices covering ethics, privacy, security, compliance, and risk management.
• Lead organizational readiness for ISO 42001 and other emerging AI governance standards.
• Create and maintain an enterprise AI use-case registry and governance structure.

AI Adoption & Change Management

• Drive enterprise-wide AI literacy and adoption programs.
• Establish AI Champions networks across business functions.
• Partner with HR and Learning teams to build AI capability across the workforce.
• Ensure sustainable adoption through training, communication, and change management initiatives.

Technology & Innovation Leadership

• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, and vendors.
• Define enterprise standards for AI tools and implementation approaches.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams on AI architecture and solution design.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness through AI.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• MBA or Master's degree preferred.

Experience

• 10–15 years of overall experience.
• Minimum 5 years leading enterprise transformation, digital transformation, or AI transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience delivering measurable business outcomes through AI and automation programs.
• Experience working with executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.
• Proven success managing large cross-functional transformation programs.
