Job summary

Pakka Limited is seeking an experienced Shift Process Engineer to supervise paper machine operations during shifts, ensuring smooth production, quality and safety adherence at the Ayodhya site.

You will optimize process parameters, monitor materials and chemistry, and lead a team to achieve targets while coordinating with maintenance and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Pulp & Paper Technology, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in Paper manufacturing and Papermachine operations.
• Strong understanding of paper machine processes and components, fiber prep & refining, wet-end chemistry, vacuum & dryer systems, size press and calendar operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control paper machine operations to meet production and quality targets.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and utilities to minimize downtime.
• Lead shift manpower and maintain production records and reports.
• Identify process abnormalities and implement corrective actions.
• Support new product trials and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Shift Process Engineer tooversee paper machine operations during shifts, ensuring smooth production,consistent product quality, process optimization, and adherence to safety andenvironmental standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge of papermanufacturing processes and the ability to lead shift operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control paper machine operations toachieve production and quality targets.
• Ensure efficient operation of fiber preparation,wet end, vacuum, dryer, size press, calendar, and finishing sections.
• Optimize process parameters to improve machineefficiency, productivity, and product quality.
• Monitor raw materials, chemicals, wet-endchemistry, and refining processes.
• Identify process abnormalities and implementcorrective actions.
• Support new product trials and continuous processimprovement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, andoperational standards.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Utilityteams to minimize downtime.
• Lead shift manpower and maintain production recordsand reports.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Pulp & Paper Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in Paper manufacturing and Papermachine operations.
• Strong understanding of:
• Paper machine process and components
• Fiber preparation and refining
• Wet-end chemistry
• Vacuum and dryer systems
• Size Press, IR Dryer, calendar operations
• Paper quality parameters and customer requirements
• Good troubleshooting, leadership, andproblem-solving skills.
