Job summary

Pakka Limited is seeking an experienced strategic leader to head the commissioning of our state-of-the-art specialty paper manufacturing machine. The role ensures the machine is erected, commissioned, and operationalized on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

You will supervise commissioning, coordinate with procurement, operations and R&D, and establish SOPs for safe operation and maintenance while driving productivity and cost optimization in a challenging

Qualifications

• Experience commissioning food-grade or greaseproof/specialty paper lines.
• Strong understanding of paper base manufacturing processes.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the commissioning and trial runs of the machine.
• Ensure process stability and achieve product quality and production output targets.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and R&D teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• EstablishSOPs for machine operation, maintenance, and safety
  
• Deliverthe design within productivity and desired quality of the product.
  
• Developnew product at optimum cost of manufacturing.
  
• Continuousimprovement in productivity and reduction in manufacturing cost.
  
• In-depthknowledge of OGR, Glassine, Flexible paper base manufacturing
  
• Strongunderstanding of material and energy balance, machine design, andcritical components
  
• Familiaritywith agro based pulps, refining processes, and barrier propertyoptimization
  
• Proventrack record of successfully commissioning and stabilization of papermachine, preferably in the specialty segment
  
• Abilityto lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships effectively
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.Tech/B.E.in Pulp & Paper Technology / Chemical Engineering
  
• Experiencein commissioning food-grade or greaseproof/specialty paper lines
