Job summary

Layam is seeking a Shift Engineer for the Phosphoric Acid Plant (PAP) in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The role requires 7+ years in fertilizer/chemical plant operations and experience with PAP or similar fertilizer processes.

You will lead shift teams, monitor critical parameters, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with maintenance and quality teams. Responsibilities include managing start-up/shutdown, handling emergencies, maintaining logs, and driving process optimization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of fertilizer/chemical plant operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain shift logbooks and production reports.
• Monitor raw material, utility and chemical consumption.
• Ensure proper shift handover.
