Job summary

Oges Solutions seeks an Executive/Sr. Executive-Controls to create and implement robust automation PLC programs. You will design, program, test, and deploy control logic across platforms, maintaining quality and timelines.

This role requires strong IEC 61131-3 expertise, Siemens TIA Portal, and hands-on project delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, with travel across India and abroad.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with IEC 61131-3 programming across PLC platforms.
• Ability to interpret ICDs and develop PLC code for interfaces using PROFINET, AS-i, Modbus, Ethernet/IP.
• Experience in debugging and troubleshooting PLC code.
• Independent project execution experience.
• Knowledge of safety PLCs and fail-safe programming.
• Willingness to travel across India and abroad.

KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCES

The Executive/Sr. Executive-Controls is responsible for developing robust logic solutions across various automation platforms and applications. The role focuses on designing, programming, testing, and implementing control logic while maintaining code quality, documentation standards, and delivery timelines.

Functional Skills

• Hands-on experience with IEC 61131-3 programming (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagram) across one or more PLC platforms. Siemens platforms like Simatic TIA Portal and PCS7, WinCC are desired.
• Efficient in debugging and troubleshooting PLC code. Experience in calling and programming system interrupts.
• Ability to interpret third-party Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and develop corresponding PLC code to implement required interfaces using industrial communication protocols such as PROFINET, AS-i, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP.
• Has independently executed at least one project.
• Knowledge of safety PLC's and fail-safe programming would be added advantage.
• Knowledge of testing the PLC code using emulation software's like Experior or AutoMod would be added advantage.
• Basic understanding of electrical components and the ability to read/interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional team members and external stakeholders
• Willingness to travel across India and abroad.
