Job summary

Inverted in India seeks a hands-on mechanical design engineer to own the design of battery packs, from DFMEA/DFM to tolerance stack-ups. You will work alongside electronic, BMS, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust products across diverse applications.

With 3-5 years of CAD experience and a solid understanding of AIS-156 Phase 2 / IP ratings, you will drive design decisions that ensure performance, safety, and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive or Aerospace.
• 3-5 years of hands-on mechanical design (CAD + prototyping).
• Solid understanding of AIS-156 Phase 2 / IP ratings.

Responsibilities

• Own DFMEA, DFM, and tolerance-stack analysis for every new SKU.
• Partner with thermal engineering on cooling paths and material selection.
• Drive supplier qualification and first-article inspections.
