Job summary

Inverted is seeking a hands-on mechanical design engineer to own the development of battery pack subsystems, from bracket stack-ups to thermal enclosures. You will collaborate with electrical, BMS, and manufacturing teams to translate requirements into robust hardware.

The role focuses on DFMEA/DFM and tolerance analysis, supports cooling path choices, material selection, and supplier qualification to deliver durable, scalable products for mobility and energy storage.

Qualifications

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical / Automotive / Aerospace.
• 3-5 years of hands-on mechanical design (CAD + prototyping).
• Solid understanding of AIS-156 Phase 2 / IP ratings.

Responsibilities

• Own DFMEA, DFM, and tolerance-stack analysis for every new SKU.
• Partner with thermal engineering on cooling paths and material selection.
• Drive supplier qualification and first-article inspections.
