Job summary

Skillventory is seeking a battery-pack design engineer responsible for the design and development of Lithium-ion battery packs. You will perform cell selection/qualification, busbar design, and BMS bench testing, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to address DFM/DFA comments.

The role requires BMS knowledge, battery technology expertise, Matlab/Python skills, and hands-on lab testing capabilities, including test automation and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of battery and cell technology and components.
• In-depth knowledge of BMS and its functions.
• Experience with lab equipment and testing environments.
• Ability to perform CAN log and data analysis.

Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for field failure battery pack analysis.
• Simulation in Matlab or similar.
• Co-ordinate with cross functional teams like component development, vehicle integration etc... and resolve DFM / DFA comments.
• BMS bench testing.
• BMS/Battery test automation.
• Design verification plan preparation.
• CAN log and data analysis.

Technical/ Functional:
