Job summary

Jital Solutions in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, seeks a Plant Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end plant operations, including production, quality, manpower, safety and regulatory compliance, tailored to food/feed manufacturing.

You will lead daily operations, optimize capacity, ensure ISO, FSSAI, HACCP standards, drive cost efficiency, and manage shift schedules, training, and audits, reporting to the Director/Business Head.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech (Mechanical/Industrial/Production/Food Technology) or Diploma with relevant experience.
• 6–10 years in plant/manufacturing operations, with at least 2+ years in a managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and monitor daily plant operations to meet production targets.
• Optimize capacity utilization, minimize downtime, and reduce wastage/rejection rates.
• Coordinate with procurement/supply chain for raw material availability and inventory control.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards (ISO, FSSAI, HACCP, or equivalent) and internal SOPs.
• Ensure statutory compliance with the Factory Act, labor laws, pollution control norms, and other regulations.
• Maintain documentation for audits (internal, statutory, food/feed safety, and client audits).
• Lead, supervise, and mentor plant staff, supervisors, and shop-floor workers.
• Manage shift scheduling, attendance, and workforce planning in coordination with HR.
• Drive skill development and training programs for plant personnel.
• Enforce health & safety protocols; zero/minimal accidents; food/feed hygiene standards.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment to reduce breakdowns.
• Manage utilities (power, water, etc.) efficiently.
• Monitor plant budget, control costs, identify savings opportunities.
• Prepare and submit production, quality, and efficiency reports to management.
• Liaise with HR for KPI tracking of plant staff.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Plant Operations Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of the Dhar plant overseeing
production, quality, manpower, safety, and compliance to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and uninterrupted operations
aligned with company targets. Candidates with hands‑on experience in the food and feed manufacturing industry are
strongly preferred, given the nature of Jital Solutions plant operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Production & Operations
  Plan, organize, and monitor daily plant operations to meet production targets and deadlines
• Optimize plant capacity utilization, minimize downtime, and reduce wastage/rejection rates
• ¢ Coordinate with procurement/supply chain for raw material availability and inventory control, including
  food/feed-grade raw materials
• Quality & Compliance
  ¢ Ensure adherence to quality standards (ISO, FSSAI, HACCP, or equivalent food/feed safety certifications) and

• ¢ Ensure statutory compliance with the Factory Act, labor laws, pollution control norms, and other regulations
  applicable to MP-based plants
