Job summary

Mahesh Edible Oil Industries in Rajasthan invites applications for a Production Manager. Plan and control daily/monthly production to meet market demand, monitor inventory, maintain quality as per standards, and drive productivity and cost efficiency.

This role requires coordinating with Purchase, SCM, Quality, Maintenance, Packing and Dispatch, ensuring safe operations and adherence to SOPs. Preference given to candidates with mustard oil or solvent plant experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control daily/monthly production as per market requirements.
• Ensure production targets, yield and recovery are achieved.
• Maintain product quality as per FSSAI and applicable standards.
• Monitor raw material, packing material and finished-goods inventory.
• Control production losses, wastage and manufacturing costs.
• Coordinate with Purchase, SCM, Quality, Maintenance, Packing and Dispatch teams.
• Ensure proper operation and utilization of plant capacity.
• Implement SOPs and maintain process discipline.
• Monitor manpower requirement, productivity and attendance.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and minimize plant breakdowns.
• Handle critical situations such as raw-material shortage, packing shortage, power failure and equipment breakdown.
• Review daily production, quality, yield, stock and dispatch reports.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality and cost reduction.
• Ensure workplace safety, hygiene and statutory compliance.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and team meetings.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions for operational problems.

Preferred candidate profile

We will prefer candidates who have worked in mustard oil Plant, soybean oil Plant or solvent plants.
