Job summary

Brose Group in India seeks a skilled PLC Programmer to join a 3-shift maintenance team. You will handle PLC programming for Siemens and Yaskawa, and develop HMI solutions for Pro-face in an automotive manufacturing setting.

You will troubleshoot PLC and NI LabVIEW-related issues, support preventive maintenance, and contribute to reducing downtime by addressing repetitive failures. A Diploma/BE in Electrical/Electronics with 6-8 years of experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 6-8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Automotive industries.
• Experience in Assembly line.

Responsibilities

• Operate as PLC programmer in shift (3 shifts) to meet maintenance KPIs.
• Maintain shift maintenance and support preventive maintenance team.
• Attend daily breakdowns during shift.
• Perform PLC programming for Siemens and Yaskawa as expert.
• Program HMI for Siemens and Proface as expert.
• Troubleshoot and modify NI LabVIEW software as needed.
• Troubleshoot PLC programs during machine breakdowns.
• Perform overall breakdown maintenance in shift (3 shifts).
• Maintain electrical elements; basic mechanical maintenance knowledge.
• Program and train others on Code Reader, Vision sensors, and cameras.
• Identify repetitive failures to reduce maintenance costs.

• Work as PLC programmer in shift (3 shift working) to achieve all maintenance KPI’s.
• Responsible for overall shift maintenance & support to preventive maintenance team.

• PLC programming for Siemens and Yaskawa PLC as expert.
• HMI programing for Siemens and Proface HMI as expert.
• Troubleshooting and modification in NI Lab view software.
• Troubleshooting and modification in PLC program during machine breakdown.
• Overall breakdown maintenance in shift (3 shift working).
• Expert in electrical element maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance.
• Programing and teaching of Code reader, Vision sensor, Camera.
• Reduce maintenance cost by identifying repetitive failure.
