Job summary

Brose Group in Pune, India, seeks a seasoned production planning specialist to analyze customer specifications and plant capacity data, plan long-term capital investments, and optimize equipment and workforce for new business acquisitions.

You will design production layouts, coordinate with suppliers, and support industrialization milestones from design review to pre-production builds, leveraging 7–12 years of experience in capital equipment planning and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes Customer specifications and plant capacity data to determine cost efficient manufacturing processes, equipment, and human resource requirements for new business acquisitions.
• Plans the long-term capital investment strategy needed to support current and future projects.
• Prepares and supplies the costs and timing for capital equipment, tools, and resources for the industrialization process.
• Plans and implements the layout of the production cell for optimal material flow, logistics movements, and operator balancing.
• Maintains the organization and development of equipment suppliers to ensure they meet Brose norms and standards.
• Abide by and improve standard forms and procedures for production planning.
• Support industrialization milestones from the industrialization side including Design Review, Delivery Release, Commissioning, and pre-production builds with the manufacturing plant team.
• Establish process flow, manufacturing layout, P-FMEA and assembly concept in cooperation with the manufacturing plant and central production planning.

Your Tasks
