Job summary

Brose Group in India seeks an experienced Embedded Software Specialist to define and maintain software architectures for embedded and model-based systems. You will design modular frameworks using embedded C and MATLAB/Simulink, guide ECU functions, and ensure cross-platform integration.

The role requires 8+ years in embedded and model-based development in automotive, with ISO 26262 familiarity. You will collaborate across hardware, safety, and validation teams in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of embedded and model-based software development experience in automotive.
• Experience with ISO 26262 functional safety preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in C/C++,MATLAB/Simulink,and Stateflow.
• Solid understanding of microcontroller architectures and peripheral interfaces.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle(SDLC)MIL/SIL/HIL testing.
• Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262).
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electronics,Computer Engineering,or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in embedded and model-based software development.
• Experience in automotive domain and ECU development.
