Job summary

Illusion Dental Laboratory seeks a seasoned professional to lead Industrial Relations and Labor Compliance at our Mumbai plant. You will liaise with unions, handle disputes, and ensure adherence to labor laws and factory acts while overseeing payroll and attendance.

You will collaborate with corporate HR for policy alignment, drive welfare initiatives, and support audits and inspections to maintain compliant plant operations.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of manufacturing/plant experience.
• Experience with labor laws and industrial relations.
• Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office.

Industrial Relations (IR) & Labor Compliance

Maintain harmonious industrial relations by liaising with labor unions and handling disputes.

Ensure compliance with labor laws, Factory Act, Industrial Disputes Act, and other statutory requirements.

Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and negotiations with employees/unions.

Represent the company in labor courts, conciliations, and arbitrations if required.

Implement HR policies at the plant level in alignment with corporate guidelines.

Oversee payroll, attendance, and leave management for plant employees.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for HR operational excellence.

Employee Engagement & Welfare

Develop and implement employee engagement activities to boost morale and retention.

Address employee grievances and ensure a positive work environment.

Drive welfare initiatives, including health, safety, and employee well-being programs.

Talent Acquisition & Management

Oversee manpower planning and hiring for plant operations.

Work with the corporate HR team to implement talent development programs.

Conduct training sessions on policies, compliance, and employee development.

Performance Management & Training

Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for plant employees.

Conduct performance appraisals and recommend promotions/increments.

Facilitate training programs to enhance workforce productivity and skill development.

Compliance & Audits

Ensure adherence to labor laws, wage acts, and company policies.

Manage HR audits and inspections from government authorities.

Maintain all necessary records, reports, and documentation for compliance.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of Hr Plant Operations, labor laws, compliance, and industrial relations
• Excellent people management and communication skills
• Experience in a manufacturing/plant setup

Qualifications:

• At least 12-15 years within a manufacturing / Plant experience
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office applications.
