Job summary

Ubique Systems in Durgapur, West Bengal, is hiring a Plant HR to manage blue-collar HR operations at our manufacturing plant. The role covers labour compliance, IR, recruitment, attendance, payroll inputs, and ensuring a productive shop floor.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of plant HR experience, strong knowledge of labour laws, and hands-on HRMS usage. This on-site position offers exposure to industrial relations and government compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR/Business Administration/IR/MSW/MBA-HR or any Graduate.
• Hands-on exposure to manufacturing/plant HR operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
• Good conflict resolution, communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing blue-collar manpower and shop-floor HR activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a peaceful and productive shop-floor environment and handle employee/worker disputes.
• Support union/worker negotiations and industrial relations activities.
• Ensure compliance with Factories Act, PF, ESI, Contract Labour regulations and other applicable labour laws.
• Manage end-to-end blue-collar recruitment, onboarding and manpower deployment.
• Handle attendance, shift rosters, overtime records and payroll inputs.
• Hands-on experience with HRMS / attendance / payroll systems.
• Address employee grievances and maintain positive employee relations.
• Conduct and support safety awareness initiatives and promote a strong plant culture.
• Coordinate with relevant government authorities for statutory and labour-related matters.
