Job summary

Henfruit Proteins is seeking a capable operations leader to manage the end-to-end plant functions, including production, maintenance, quality, EHS, utilities and warehouse.

The role focuses on driving productivity, capacity utilisation and overall efficiency across the facility, with strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement. Suitable for seasoned professionals in food/manufacturing plants within India.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Mechanical, Chemical, Production Engineering, or related field.
• 1015+ years of experience in plant/manufacturing operations, preferably in the food, protein, meat, dairy or FMCG industry.
• Proven experience managing large-scale plant operations and cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of production, maintenance, quality, EHS and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall plant operations including Production, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, Utilities and Warehouse.
• Drive production planning, productivity, capacity utilisation and operational efficiency.
• Monitor plant KPIs including yield, wastage, downtime, OEE, cost and productivity.
• Ensure preventive maintenance, equipment reliability and uninterrupted plant operations.
• Manage manpower, shift planning, performance and workforce productivity.
• Lead audits, CAPA, risk management and corrective/preventive actions.
• Develop a strong culture of safety, discipline, accountability and continuous improvement.
