Job summary

Well Known Chemical Manufacturing Industry in Gujarat is seeking a Plant Controller - DGM to lead the accounts function, oversee finalization, monthly closings and MIS reporting for the plant.

The candidate will bring CA/ICWA qualifications with 12+ years in plant controlling, cost management, budgeting and team management; SAP experience is essential. Salary is negotiable with Saturday off alternate.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA / ICWA with 12+ years of experience in Plant Controlling, team management, financial reporting and cost management.
• Strong analytical and budgeting skills, with ability to drive cost optimizations.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plant accounts finalization, monthly closing, budgeting and MIS reporting (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly).
• Submission of stock and debtors statements for WC and quarterly information to banks.
• Support statutory, internal, stock, and tax audits.
• Liaise with GST/local bodies and seek financial subsidies as required.
• Manage bank guarantees, letters of credit, and commercial/legal agreements.
• Conduct price-volume-mix analysis to assess profitability drivers.
• Track plant costs, variances, and performance indicators for improvement opportunities.
• Monitor inventory with physical verification at plant; control slow/non-moving stock.
• Provide inputs for monthly reporting, variance analysis and cost reconciliations.
• Oversee cost saving, fixed assets and overall plant operation.

Position : Plant Controller - DGM - Accounts - Well Known Chemical Manufacturing Industry \

Location: Valia-Ankleshwar-Gujarat.

Responsibilities:

• Plant accounts finalization, Monthly Closing and Planning & Budgeting, and preparation, review, analysis and submission of various MIS (i.e. Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Profit/Loss Statement, Weekly Receivable & Inventory Report.)
• Submission of Stock and Debtors statements for Working Capital and Quarterly Information Systems to Banks.
• Statutory audit/ internal audit/stock audit/Tax audit.
• Liaising with GST / local bodies / financial subsidies etc.
• Bank Guarantees, Letter of credit and Commercial / Legal agreements.
• Conduct Price-Volume-Mix analysis at sales and gross margin levels to assess profitability drivers.
• Track and analyse plant costs, variances, and performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
• Monitor and control inventory, focusing on slow/non-moving. Physical Verification of Stocks at plant.
• Provide inputs for monthly reporting, variance analysis, and cost reconciliations.
• Cost Saving, Fixed Assets and all Plant Operation
