Job summary

Bisleri in Chennai is seeking an Executive Accounts & Finance to independently manage plant and corporate accounting operations, statutory compliances, and financial controls. The role focuses on manufacturing accounting, costing, audits, and delivering timely, accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter; CA/CMA qualification is an added advantage.
• 2–5 years of experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably manufacturing.
• Hands-on in plant and corporate accounting, costing, and statutory compliance.
• Proficient in ERP/Tally and Advanced MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end accounting for plant and corporate entities.
• Manage day-to-day transactions and entries.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closures.
• Review GL, provisions, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Support corporate consolidation and reporting.
• Oversee vendor invoices and payment cycles.
• Reconcile vendor and customer accounts; resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor receivables, advances, and aging reports.
• Oversee costing, BOM validation and production expenses.
• Oversee overhead allocation and cost reporting.
• Coordinate with production, stores, and SCM for cost accuracy.

Position: Executive - Accounts & Finance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Executive Accounts & Finance to independently manage both plant-level and corporate-level accounting operations, statutory compliances, and financial controls. The role requires strong hands-on experience in manufacturing accounting, cost tracking, audits, corporate reporting, and coordination with internal teams and external consultants to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Control (Plant & Corporate):

• Handle end-to-end plant and corporate accounting operations.
• Manage day-to-day financial transactions and ensure proper accounting entries.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closures.
• Review and monitor general ledger, provisions, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Support corporate consolidation and reporting requirements.

Vendor Payments & Receivables Management:

• Oversee vendor invoice processing and payment cycles (Plant & Branch).
• Reconcile vendor and customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor receivables, advances, and aging reports.
• Ensure proper working capital monitoring and control.

Statutory Compliance & Taxation:

• Independently manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances for plant and corporate entities.
• Ensure timely filing of returns and statutory payments.
• Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors during assessments and audits.

Manufacturing Costing & Inventory Control:

• Monitor product costing, BOM validation, and production expenses.
• Oversee overhead allocation and cost tracking mechanisms.
• Review inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, and slow-moving inventory analysis.
• Coordinate with production, stores, and SCM teams for accurate cost reporting.

MIS, Budgeting & Corporate Reporting:

• Prepare and analyze monthly MIS reports for plant and corporate management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Assist in financial planning and performance tracking.
• Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Audit & Process Improvement:

• Lead internal and statutory audit coordination at plant and corporate levels.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting and financial processes.

Education:

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter (CA/CMA Qualified is an added advantage).

Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong exposure to plant accounting, corporate accounting, costing, and statutory compliance.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/Tally and Advanced MS Excel.
• Good analytical, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and financial governance.
