Job summary

The Corporate Institute invites applications for the Plant Finance Head to lead financial planning and control for the Ahmedabad-based manufacturing footprint. You will drive cost management, COGS, inventory valuation, and capital efficiency in partnership with operations.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting to the Group CFO, and support investor communications. Strong CA with 6–10 years in manufacturing/ pharma/ FMCG is required, with ERP expertise and advanced Excel/Power BI

Qualifications

• CA with 6–10 years of experience in Manufacturing/ Pharmaceuticals/ FMCG.
• Knowledge of Ind AS and financial reporting is required.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and MIS is essential.

Plant Finance Head

Reporting To: Group CFO

Location: Ahmedabad

Key Responsibilities

1. Manufacturing Finance

• Drive plant finance and manufacturing cost control.
• Monitor: COGS, Yield analysis, Batch costing, Inventory valuation, Variance analysis.
• Partner with operations to improve manufacturing efficiencies and profitability.
• Review inventory controls, slow-moving inventory, and working capital optimization.

2. Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
• Prepare MIS for Mgt and Board covering Plant KPIs; conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Supporting CFO for investor presentations for Group; respond to investor queries and data requests.

3. Internal Controls & Governance

• Strengthen internal financial controls and governance framework.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, lead process automation and control improvements.

4. Treasury

• Monitor & Plan cash flow, liquidity and working capital (DSO, DPO, DIO).
• Support banking relationships and financing arrangements.

5. Business Partnering

• Partner with manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, sales, and commercial teams.
• Provide financial insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate new business opportunities, capital expenditure proposals, and investment decisions.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Ind AS and financial reporting.
• Budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications and Experience
