Job summary

Jobspothr is seeking a Manager Plant Administration & Statutory Compliance for its Dharwad, Karnataka location. The role requires graduate qualification with Labour Laws/IR/Personnel Management or Industrial Safety and at least 8 years of experience in related functions.

You will maintain licences, records, and audits, ensure welfare and statutory compliance for PF/ESI, and coordinate with state authorities for consents and environmental returns. A strong plant operations mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate with knowledge of Labour Laws, IR, Personnel Management, or Industrial Safety preferred.
• 8 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of factory laws and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain licences, registers, and records under applicable factory laws; coordinate inspections, renewals, and audit closures.
• Monitor contract labour compliance, statutory wage records, attendance, PF/ESI, and welfare requirements.
• Coordinate with State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) officials for consents, environmental returns, and hazardous waste management.
• Act as the key plant point of contact for Factory, Labour, Pollution Control, Fire, Police, and local authorities.
• Manage day-to-day plant administration including security, housekeeping, canteen, transport, guest house, and facility management.
• Maintain compliance calendars, contractor documentation, and monthly dashboards for management review.
