Sanmar Group is seeking a proactive Admin professional for its Speciality Chemical Plant at Berigai, Hosur. The candidate will manage plant administration, facilities, security, and employee services, coordinating with HR, EHS, Maintenance and Finance for smooth plant operations.

We have an opportunity for Admin role for our Speciality Chemical Plant located at Berigai, Hosur.

Looking for candidates with 6 -10 years of experience from similar industry.

Role Purpose

To manage and ensure smooth and effective administration of the plant, including facilities, employee services, security, transport, housekeeping, canteen, vendor management and general plant infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day plant administration and facility management activities.
  • Ensure effective management of security, housekeeping, canteen, transport and other employee services.
  • Coordinate with security agencies and ensure proper implementation of plant security procedures and access control.
  • Manage administration-related vendors, contractors and service providers, including performance monitoring and bill verification.
  • Oversee plant facilities, office infrastructure, accommodation, utilities and common areas.
  • Coordinate employee transportation and other welfare facilities.
  • Ensure availability and upkeep of essential administrative facilities and services.
  • Support statutory and regulatory compliance related to administration, including coordination with relevant government authorities wherever required.
  • Maintain administration records, contracts, licenses, AMC agreements and other relevant documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as HR, EHS, Maintenance, Finance and Plant Operations for smooth functioning of the plant.
  • Handle employee and visitor-related administrative requirements and ensure adherence to plant entry procedures.
  • Monitor administrative expenses and support cost control and budgeting initiatives.
  • Organise plant events, employee engagement activities, meetings and other administrative requirements.
  • Handle emergency and contingency-related administrative arrangements in coordination with the plant management and EHS team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, service quality and employee experience.
Desired Profile
  • Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PG qualification in HR/Administration will be an added advantage.
  • 6–8 years of experience in plant administration, preferably in a chemical, petrochemical, manufacturing or process industry.
  • Strong experience in facility management, security, transport, housekeeping, canteen and contract/vendor management.
  • Good knowledge of plant administration practices and statutory requirements.
  • Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees, contractors, vendors and plant leadership.
  • Should be comfortable working in a manufacturing plant environment and handling multiple administrative activities independently.
