Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed baseline schedules for Substation and Transmission Line projects using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Prepare Level 3 / Level 4 schedules including engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
• Develop resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules where required.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project progress and update schedules.
• Generate progress reports and dashboards; identify variances and propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate with site engineers, construction teams, procurement, and subcontractors for activity planning.
• Participate in project review meetings and present schedule status.
• Ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
• Prepare Weekly Progress Reports (WPR) and Monthly Progress Reports (MPR).
• Track milestones, critical path activities, delays; prepare S-curves and look-ahead schedules.
• Maintain planning documentation; assist in EOT claims and delay analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning

• Develop detailed baseline schedules for Substation and Transmission Line projects using planning software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Prepare Level 3 / Level 4 schedules including engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
• Develop resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules where required.

Schedule Monitoring & Control

• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project progress.
• Update project schedules and generate progress reports and dashboards.
• Identify schedule variances and propose corrective actions or recovery plans.

Coordination

• Coordinate with site engineers, construction teams, procurement, and subcontractors for activity planning.
• Participate in project review meetings and present schedule status.
• Ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, and construction activities.

Reporting

• Prepare Weekly Progress Reports (WPR) and Monthly Progress Reports (MPR).
• Track milestones, critical path activities, and delays.
• Prepare S-curves, look-ahead schedules (2-week / 3-week), and productivity analysis.

Project Documentation

• Maintain planning documentation including baseline schedules, revisions, delay registers, and progress records.
• Assist in EOT (Extension of Time) claims and delay analysis.

Risk & Delay Analysis

• Conduct critical path analysis and schedule risk assessments.
• Monitor interface issues between Substation and Transmission Line works.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project

Preferred Skills
