The Planning Engineer will represent the Project Management Consultant in establishing, reviewing, and monitoring integrated schedules for 400 kV and above transmission line and substation packages. The role focuses on baseline validation, progress measurement, critical-path analysis, interface coordination, forecasting, delay identification, recovery planning, and timely management reporting.
Candidates should have experience in 400 kV and above transmission line and AIS/GIS substation projects, with strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, project controls, baseline schedule review, progress monitoring, critical path analysis, delay analysis, recovery planning, and MIS reporting. Preference will be given to candidates with PMC/Owners Engineer/client-side experience, proficiency in Primavera P6/MS Project, and proven skills in forecasting, risk tracking, interface coordination, procurement monitoring, and stakeholder reporting.
The ideal candidate should have 812 years of proven planning and project-controls experience in high-voltage transmission line and substation projects. The candidate should independently evaluate contractor schedules, reconcile reported progress, identify emerging delays, coordinate package interfaces, and provide reliable forecasts and actionable reports to the client and project leadership.
