Job summary

THERMAX in Pune, India is seeking an experienced project scheduler to develop integrated master schedules for programmers, incorporating milestones from multiple contractors and feeding changes into the IMS.

You will monitor compliance, support change management, baselining, progress tracking, and reporting. Proficiency in Primavera and MS-Project, EVMS, and resource planning are essential, with willingness to travel to project sites and vendor locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in refinery / PSU projects and EPC consultants & contractors such as EIL / Technip / Toyo / L&T / Technimont / Avant Garde, etc.
• Effective communication within team and with stakeholders.
• Excellent computer skills within Microsoft Office.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel and visit project sites / Vendor locations.
• An experienced user of the relevant Programme tools.
• Experience in Earned Value Management based Project Control systems.
• Practical ability to utilize critical project management concepts.
• Good knowledge of scheduling & monitoring tools.
• Understanding of resource planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated master schedules for specific programmers in Primavera / MS-project reflecting interface milestones and activity durations from multiple contractors.
• Monitor and control programmer compliance with contractual obligations.
• Provide support in project management including scheduling, change management, tracking progress and forecasting.
• Develop Work Breakdown Structures.
• Provide support to detailed schedule development based on project understanding from team members.
• Establish project baselines and report variances.
• Provide support to track project progress and analyze bottlenecks, trends and critical path.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Prepare project status presentations highlighting key accomplishments, risks and changes.
• Support submission of weekly and monthly progress reports with progress, actuals, forecast and variance explanations.
• Track project deliverables.
• Conduct internal cross-functional reviews to identify inputs/critical areas.
• Generate and track MIS for management review.
• Support marketing at pre-order stage by understanding customer requirements and delivery timelines.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support the development of integrated master schedules for specific programmers in Primavera / MS-project that reflect all interface milestones and activity durations from multiple contractors schedules and feed changes to the integrated master schedule.
• Monitor and control programmer compliance in respect of the projects contractual obligations.
• Provide support in the management of project which includes scheduling, change management, tracking progress, forecasting
• Develop Work Breakdown Structures
• Provide support to detailed schedule development based on project understanding from team members
• Establish project baselines and report variances.
• Provide support to track project progress and perform analysis of bottlenecks, trends and critical path
• Provide support to Identify and communicate project risks and develop mitigation plans
• Prepare project status presentations, highlighting key accomplishments, risks and changes
• Provide support in submission of Project progress, in terms of weekly and monthly reports in line with the project and company reporting calendar. details on progress, actuals, forecast and explanation of variances. Provide additional support as required/needed by the project management (including field project coordination and management of sub-projects)
• Track project deliverable
• Conducting internal cross-functional review/management review meetings for under identifying the Inputs/critical areas.
• Generate and track various MIS required for management review
• Provide support to marketing team at pre-order stage in terms of understanding customer requirements, providing delivery time and highlighting critical areas for execution of the project

Critical Competencies:

• Preferably worked on refinery / PSU projects and consultants & EPCs like EIL / Technip / Toyo / L&T / Technimont / Avant Garde etc..
