Job summary

GMS Elegant Builders is a rapid-growing construction company delivering landmark building and industrial projects. This senior planning role focuses on master scheduling, PMC and client liaison, and rigorous progress tracking across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Noida.

The candidate will manage schedules in Primavera P6/MS Project, coordinate resources and costs, and ensure earned value management is effectively implemented for complex projects.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 9+ years of planning experience in Buildings and/or Industrial construction.

Responsibilities

• Master Scheduling: Develop, update, and monitor project schedules for building and industrial projects.
• PMC & Client Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for PMC and clients, presenting progress reports and mitigation strategies.
• Progress Monitoring: Track site progress and identify bottlenecks for corrective actions.
• Resource & Cost Control: Coordinate resource allocation and monitor earned value management (EVM).

Responsibilities

• Master Scheduling: Develop, update, and monitor comprehensive project schedules (Primavera P6 / MS Project) for building and industrial projects.
• PMC & Client Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for Project Management Consultants (PMC) and clients, presenting progress reports, look-ahead plans, and mitigation strategies.
• Progress Monitoring: Track daily/weekly/monthly site progress against baseline schedules, identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions.
• Resource & Cost Control: Coordinate resource allocation (manpower, machinery, and materials) and monitor earned value management (EVM).

Qualifications

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 9+ years of relevant planning experience in Buildings and/or Industrial construction.

Required Skills

• Software Skills: Hands-on expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with proven experience dealing directly with demanding clients and PMC teams.
