Job summary

vConstruct, a Pune-based international construction technology company, seeks a 4D Planning Engineer with strong expertise in 4D Construction Planning, Visual Planning, Construction Sequencing, and Construction Logistics.

The Lead Visual Planner will lead planning deliverables, guide team members, coordinate with internal and client teams, and develop high-quality simulations and logistics plans for sectors including Commercial, Data Center, Healthcare, and Higher Education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in VDC, Construction Planning, BIM, or Visual Planning.
• Strong experience with SYNCHRO 4D Pro.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, means & methods, and project execution planning.
• Experience interpreting CPM schedules and construction documents.
• Experience coordinating with project stakeholders and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead 4D visual planning and 4D simulation deliverables for projects.
• Develop sequences, integrate master schedules with BIM models.
• Create visual work plans and milestone-based simulations for planning and execution.

vConstruct, a Pune based international construction technology company isseeking a 4D Planning Engineer with strong expertise in 4D Construction Planning, Visual Planning, Construction Sequencing, and Construction Logistics. The Lead Visual Planner will be responsible for leading visual planning deliverables, guiding team members, coordinating with internal and client teams, and developing high-quality simulations, construction logistics plans, and visual communication deliverables for Commercial, Data Center, Healthcare, Hospitality, Advanced Technology, and Higher Education sector projects.

Visual Planning & 4D Simulation

• Develop, manage, and update 4D construction sequences and animations using SYNCHRO 4D Pro.
• Integrate master schedules (from Primavera P6 or MS Project) with 3D BIM models.
• Create construction phasing, sequencing, and milestone-based simulations to support project planning and execution.
• Generate "what-if" scenario analyses and visual comparisons to evaluate alternative construction approaches.
• Develop visual work plans and 4D simulations that effectively communicate complex construction activities, sequencing strategies, and project constraints to stakeholders, enabling early identification of construction sequencing issues, workspace conflicts, and execution risks.

Construction Logistics Planning

• Develop site logistics plans, material flow studies, site utilization plans, and temporary works layouts.
• Visualize crane operations, laydown areas, pedestrian pathways, delivery routes, and site access strategies.
• Produce logistics sequencing animations for project pursuits and active projects.
• Identify logistical constraints and propose optimized construction workflows.
• Review BIM models for sequencing, constructability, and visualization readiness.
• Coordinate with BIM, VDC, and design teams to prepare models for visual planning.
• Perform constructability reviews and support risk identification through visual analysis.
• Ensure model quality and data consistency across project deliverables.

Project Delivery & Client Engagement

• Lead project discussions related to visual planning, logistics planning, and 4D implementation.
• Facilitate planning workshops with project teams, superintendents, trade partners, and clients.
• Translate planning and scheduling information into clear, visually compelling deliverables.
• Present visual planning outcomes and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and support Visual Planners and team members on best practices, workflows, and deliverable quality.
• Review project deliverables for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client requirements.
• Support development of standards, templates, and visual planning methodologies.
• Contribute to capability development and innovation initiatives within the Visual Planning group.
• Drive adoption of emerging technologies in visual planning and construction simulation.
• Explore integration of AI, automation, and production tracking workflows.
• Support development of repeatable solutions that improve efficiency and scalability of visual planning services.

Skills and Qualifications:
