Job summary

Alftek seeks a Construction Visualization Lead in Bengaluru, India to produce best-in-class 3D visualization content for a US-headquartered construction enterprise, including logistics plans, renderings, animations, 4D schedules, and VR/AR/MR content.

The role collaborates with BD, pursuit marketing, and operations teams across the United States with mandatory international project experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in an accredited industry-related curriculum.
• Minimum 8–10 years of VDC-related design and/or construction experience with demonstrated progression of technical knowledge and responsibilities.
• Thorough understanding of general construction techniques and systems, with a focus on site safety and logistics planning.
• Strong capability in 3D parametric modeling software (Revit at a minimum): site safety and logistics models, custom Revit families, 4D simulations integrating construction schedule, and high-quality rendered images.
• Capability with some or all of: 3DSMax, Rhino, AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, V-Ray or Corona render engines, Twinmotion, Unreal Engine, Fuzor, Lumion.

Responsibilities

• Produce best-in-class content for internal and external audiences, including logistics plans, renderings, case study material, animations, 4D schedules, and VR/AR/MR simulations.
• Manage a dynamic and fast-paced workload, prioritizing effectively against business objectives and resources.
• Meet all internal and external client deadlines.
• Develop 3D and 4D site safety and logistics models, collecting data from project sites and incorporating construction knowledge into plans.
• Develop construction sequence 3D and 4D models, including constructability analysis, spatial coordination, and safety measures.
• Model construction systems including structural, architectural, MEPFP, and general requirements.
• Ensure all deliverables meet or exceed expectations and adhere to graphic standards.
• Provide training and support of software and tools to project teams.
• Proactively develop and maintain relationships with new and existing project teams.

The Role

The client’s Digital Engineering group promotes a holistic approach to design and construction model-based services and technologies — defining strategy around BIM, data integration across models and departments, and cultural change across project teams to significantly reduce risk on construction cost and schedule. The Visualization team is responsible for 3D visualization efforts nationally: logistics plans and models, renderings, animations, 4D schedules, and VR/AR/MR content supporting new business pursuits and project decision-making on complex construction activities.
