Project Engineer- Revit Modeler

Job summary

vConstruct, a Pune‑based international construction technology company, seeks a Project Engineer- Revit Modeling to develop accurate 3D/4D BIM models from design information, enabling better visualization, coordination, and field execution.

You will review drawings, create models for architecture, structure and MEP, perform quality checks, and collaborate with global teams while mentoring junior staff. 2+ years in VDC and a related degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC).
• Hands-on experience with Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, and Revit MEP.
• Basic understanding of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil construction documents.
• Proficiency with BIM authoring; Navisworks experience preferred.
• Understanding of construction processes and project execution.
• Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop schematic and detailed 3D models for architecture, structure, interiors, and, in some cases, MEP systems.
• Produce dimensioned drawings and shop-level models for layouts, prefabrication, and field execution.
• Develop models to answer contractor questions and illustrate proposed solutions.
• Review design drawings, models, and RFIs to ensure accurate translation into 3D and 4D BIM.
• Create high-end renderings, walkthroughs, and 4D BIM visualizations for project proposals and construction logistics.
• Integrate progress reports into models to visualize construction status in 3D.
• Review new tools and refine workflows, with a proactive approach to process improvement and automation.
• Mentor junior team members and support their development on modeling standards and workflows.

The role involves convertingarchitectural, structural, and building systems designs into 3D and 4D modelsthat help project teams visualize, coordinate, and execute work withconfidence. By strengthening the connection between design intent and fieldexecution, the role enables smarter decision-making, faster problem resolution,and more predictable project outcomes.

3DModeling & Documentation

• Develop schematic and detailed 3D models for architecture,structure, interiors, and, in some cases, MEP systems.

• Track changes between model versions and highlight designupdates or modifications.
• Prepare and manage BIM content for mobile and field use, andanalyze BIM data using tools such as Excel.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve questions, keepworkflows smooth, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with project teams across geographies, includingUS-based teams during evening hours as needed.
• Mentor junior team members and support their development onmodeling standards and workflows.
• Explore, document, and implement best practices to improve BIMworkflows and processes.
• Review new tools and refine workflows, with a proactiveapproach to process improvement and automation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Familiarity with additional rendering or modeling tools such asAutodesk 3ds Max, Maya, Adobe After Effects, or Photoshop.
• Exposure to AutoCAD products, Tekla, Synchro, Solibri, GoogleSketchUp, Vico, or Innovaya.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members or documentbest practices.
• Experience integrating field progress data into BIM models.
• Comfortable collaborating with international teams acrossdifferent time zones.
