Job summary

vConstruct, a Pune-based international construction technology company, seeks a Project Engineer - Revit Modeling to convert architectural, structural, and MEP designs into accurate 3D/4D BIM models for visualization and coordination. The role supports construction teams to visualize, coordinate, and execute work with confidence.

You will collaborate with global teams, mentor junior staff, and drive BIM best practices and workflow improvements, leveraging Revit, Navisworks, and visualization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC).
• Hands-on experience with Revit Architecture, Structure, and MEP.
• Basic understanding of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil construction documents.
• Proficiency with BIM authoring; Navisworks experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop schematic and detailed 3D models for architecture, structure, interiors, and some MEP systems.
• Produce dimensioned drawings and shop-level models for layouts and field execution.
• Create high-end renderings, walkthroughs, and 4D BIM visualizations for proposals and logistics.
• Perform quality checks to ensure model completeness and data integrity.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve questions and maintain quality standards.

vConstruct, a Pune based international construction technology company is seeking a Project Engineer - Revit Modeling to support construction teams by developing accurate, high-quality BIM models from design information. The role involves converting architectural, structural, and building systems designs into 3D and 4D models that help project teams visualize, coordinate, and execute work with confidence. By strengthening the connection between design intent and field execution, the role enables smarter decision-making, faster problem resolution, and more predictable project outcomes.

Principal Responsibilities Include:

3D Modeling & Documentation

• Develop schematic and detailed 3D models for architecture, structure, interiors, and, in some cases, MEP systems.
• Produce dimensioned drawings and shop-level models for layouts, prefabrication, and field execution.
• Develop models to answer contractor questions and illustrate proposed solutions.
• Review design drawings, models, and RFIs to ensure accurate translation into 3D and 4D BIM.

Visualization & 4D BIM

• Create high-end renderings, walkthroughs, and 4D BIM visualizations for project proposals and construction logistics.
• Integrate progress reports into models to visualize construction status in 3D.

Model Quality & Data Management

• Perform quality checks to ensure model completeness, alignment with design documents, and data integrity.
• Track changes between model versions and highlight design updates or modifications.
• Prepare and manage BIM content for mobile and field use, and analyze BIM data using tools such as Excel.

Coordination & Collaboration

• Coordinate with project teams to resolve questions, keep workflows smooth, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with project teams across geographies, including US-based teams during evening hours as needed.
• Mentor junior team members and support their development on modeling standards and workflows.

Continuous Improvement

• Explore, document, and implement best practices to improve BIM workflows and processes.
• Review new tools and refine workflows, with a proactive approach to process improvement and automation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC).
• Hands-on experience with Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, and Revit MEP.
• Basic understanding of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil construction documents.
• Proficiency with BIM authoring; Navisworks experience preferred.
• Understanding of construction processes and project execution.
• Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong work ethic, collaborative mindset, and a "can-do" attitude.

Good to Have:

• Experience creating 4D visualizations, high-end renderings, or walkthroughs using tools such as Enscape, Lumion, or Unreal Engine.
• Familiarity with additional rendering or modeling tools such as Autodesk 3ds Max, Maya, Adobe After Effects, or Photoshop.
• Exposure to AutoCAD products, Tekla, Synchro, Solibri, Google SketchUp, Vico, or Innovaya.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members or document best practices.
• Experience integrating field progress data into BIM models.
• Comfortable collaborating with international teams across different time zones.
