Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Planning Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in solar projects to monitor progress, prepare schedules and support billing and documentation. You will coordinate across project teams, maintain plans, and ensure timely execution at project sites.

The role requires hands-on MS Project usage, strong Excel skills, and ability to work at site locations in Gujarat. Prior solar project exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in project planning, billing and/or execution.
• Experience in Solar / Renewable Energy projects preferred.

We are looking for a Planning Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in solar projects, with strong exposure to project planning, scheduling and billing activities. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring project progress, preparing schedules, coordinating with project teams, and supporting project billing and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project.
• Develop project plans, work schedules and progress monitoring reports.
• Track project milestones, site progress and planned vs. actual performance.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and site teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Support project billing, quantity tracking and measurement documentation.
• Coordinate with site teams for work completion data required for billing.
• Monitor project timelines and identify delays, risks and schedule deviations.
• Assist in preparing recovery plans and updating project schedules.
• Maintain project documentation and planning records.
• Support management with project status updates and MIS reports.

Required Skills
