Job summary

Gopalan Enterprises in Bengaluru (Richmond Road) invites a Planning Engineer with 5–8 years of experience to join our team. You will develop and maintain complex project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and site teams to track progress and ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong data analysis, cost control understanding, and the ability to generate dashboards and look-ahead schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Certifications in Primavera/PMP are a plus.
• Experience in construction/infrastructure/oil & gas/power projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to track progress and update schedules.
• Monitor project timelines, critical paths, and resource allocations to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare and analyze look-ahead schedules and identify potential risks.
• Generate progress reports, S-curves, histograms, and dashboards for management review.
• Ensure project planning aligns with contractual milestones and client requirements.
• Assist in delay analysis and extension of time (EOT) claims.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams for material and resource planning.
• Implement best practices in project planning and scheduling methodologies.
• Participate in project meetings and provide scheduling insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in project planning (Primavera, PMP, etc.) are a plus.
