Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer to support project work, focusing on CAESAR II piping stress analyses for power plants. The role requires hands-on experience, strong code knowledge, and ability to work in a 3D environment.

The candidate should be capable of independent design, hanger datasheet preparation, and selection of snubbers or rigid struts, with good communication skills to collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on piping stress analysis experience for power plants.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.1/31.3, IS, IBR and related codes.
• Experience in 3D environments and pipe-support engineering.
• Design and datasheet preparation for hangers, snubbers and rigid struts.
• Good communication skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform piping stress analyses and support project work.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Prepare and review hanger datasheets and related documentation.
• Lead design tasks as PREP/Responsible Engineer where required.

• Hands on experience in Piping Stress Analysis for Power Plant.
• Good understanding of ASME B31.1/ASME B31.3 code ASTM,ASME BPVC, IS code and IBR code.
• Should be familiar with working in 3D environment.
• Knowledge of Pipe SupportEngineering, Hanger Datasheet preparation.
