Physical Design Manager:

Experience: 15+ years

Job Description:

Requires at least 15+ years of experience. Able to technically lead a team of 50+ engineers, manage multiple customer interactions and projects. Demonstrates strong leadership qualities, capable of building and managing teams, and handling escalations. Customer-facing role.

Lead the development organization to successfully deliver outcomes.

Lead teams and stakeholders to set goals for improving code quality, maintainability, security, scalability, and integration; monitor progress.

Manage daily activities such as specifications, certification, interface, new feature launches, and other activities.

Technical Requirements:

• Experience with 7nm and below process nodes; 3nm preferred.
• Hands-on experience with complex SOC/subsystem/WRPs implementation of place and route (floorplan to post-route).
• Strong understanding of PG/floorplan and physical design flows and methodologies.
• Experience with STA, timing analysis, constraints cleanup and generation, timing optimization.
• Knowledge of VCLP, low power design optimization, UPF/CPF implementation, LEC/FEV implementation and debugging.
• Experience with top-level implementation and integration, signoff.
• Strong scripting skills in Innovus-Tcl, Python, and Perl (optional).
• Experience with top-down floor planning, partitioning, and power grid development.
• Tools: Cadence Innovus, Synopsys Fusion Compiler, PrimeTime, Ansys RedHawk, EMIR.
