Job summary

SmartSoC Solutions Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru, India, seeks an experienced ASIC Physical Design engineer to drive the complete physical design flow, including floorplanning, placement, CTS, routing, and timing closure.

The role requires hands-on experience with DDR3/DDR4/DDR5 or LPDDR PHY hardening, STA/EM analysis, and strong scripting for automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in ASIC physical design.
• Hands-on experience with floorplanning, placement, CTS, routing, and timing closure.
• Strong knowledge of STA, MMMC, OCV/AOCV/POCV and CRPR.
• Experience with signal integrity, crosstalk, IR drop and EM analysis.
• Proficiency in Tcl, Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with physical verification (DRC/LVS) and antenna checks.

• Strong knowledge of Static Timing Analysis (STA), MMMC, OCV/AOCV/POCV, and CRPR.
• Experience with signal integrity, crosstalk, IR drop, and EM analysis.
• Knowledge of physical verification, including DRC, LVS, and antenna checks.
• Proficiency in Tcl, Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in physical design.
