Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with day-to-day pharmacy activities.
• Receive medicines and pharmacy supplies and verify quantities against documents.
• Arrange medicines systematically according to approved storage practices.
• Maintain accurate stock and inventory records.
• Check expiry dates and segregate expired or damaged medicines.
• Assist in preparing medicines for dispensing under pharmacist supervision.
• Verify medicine names, strengths, quantities, and packaging before handover to the pharmacist.
• Maintain proper labeling and segregation of medicines.
• Monitor minimum stock levels and report replenishment requirements.
• Assist with stock counting and physical inventory verification.
• Maintain records of medicine receipts, issues, returns, and adjustments.
• Assist with pharmacy billing and routine documentation as assigned.
• Coordinate with stores, purchase, nursing, and clinical departments regarding medicine requirements.
• Support proper storage of temperature-sensitive and special-category medicines.
• Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and organized storage areas.
• Assist in preparation of stock and expiry reports.
• Report stock discrepancies, damaged medicines, or other concerns promptly.
• Follow pharmacy SOPs, safety procedures, and infection control requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and prescription information.
• Perform duties under the direction and supervision of the pharmacist.
