Job summary

Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital in Hisar is seeking a Pharmacist to ensure safe and accurate dispensing, storage and management of medicines within the pharmacy. You will verify prescriptions, manage inventory, and coordinate with doctors and nursing teams to support patient care.

The role requires attention to detail, adherence to regulatory procedures, and clear communication with patients regarding medicine usage. This is a full-time, on-site position at the walk-in venue in Hisar.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist is responsible for the safe and accurate dispensing, storage, and management of medicines within the hospital or healthcare facility.
• Includes prescription verification, medication dispensing, stock management and expiry monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions and dispense medicines accurately as authorized.
• Verify medicine name, strength, dosage, quantity and instructions.
• Provide information to patients regarding medicine usage.
• Maintain dispensing and pharmacy records.
• Monitor stock levels and prepare replenishment requirements.
• Check expiry dates and segregate expired medicines.
• Ensure proper storage of medicines and temperature-sensitive products.
• Maintain records for controlled or special-category medicines as applicable.
• Coordinate with doctors and nursing teams regarding medication requirements.
• Verify incoming medicines against purchase and delivery documents.
• Maintain labeling, segregation and organization of medicines.
• Monitor stock movement and adjustments.
• Conduct periodic stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams when required.
• Report medication discrepancies, shortages, or other concerns promptly.
• Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and storage conditions.
• Follow pharmacy, safety, infection control, and regulatory procedures.
• Maintain documentation required for pharmacy compliance and audits.
